Exhibition with Artist Charlotte Qin at Espaces Candides

An Ocean Decade Event

Our exhibition is titled “Mer”, French for “Sea” as my art generally has to do with the ecology, biology and conservation of the ocean, while Charlotte from Qin Theory, who has a background in Physics, is exploring water as the medium that connects all living beings. “Mer” is also a play on the phonetically identical word for mother, “Mère” to highlight the original life-giving and continuously life-sustaining nature of the oceans.
