Together with Dr Milton Love from the University of California at Santa Barbara and author of Certainly More Than You Wanted To Know About The Fishes of the Pacific Coast and Rockfishes of the Northeast Pacific we have produced this humorous book all about the history and reality of Ichthyology, or the study of fishes, as well as the anatomy, behavior, evolution and achievements of fishes, with 288 pages just bursting with illustrations.

This has truly been a labour of love, and this project started at the end of 2022, when Milton contacted me out of the blue wanting to order a T-shirt from my etsy store, and I was in the midst of trying to formulate a recipe for a book on fishes that I was planning to create. Since he had already published a few books we got to talking and eventually settled into an active email exchange of him supplying me with texts (more or less following the outline I had proposed), and me getting to illustrate those texts, or match them to illustrations that I had already completed.
Is it a bit chaotic? Yes.
Is it sometimes leaving you with more questions than it answered? Also yes.
Will you regret delving into the world of Gonzo Ichthyology? We hope not.
